Joanna Modrzyńska (PhD) is the founder and main coach of the Art of Manners Company. Due to the extensive academic, scientific, and business experience Joanna Modrzyńska is an appreciated expert in the field of diplomatic protocol, ceremonial, and international business etiquette. For many years, she has been cooperating with foreign and domestic companies, public and local government institutions, as well as universities, schools and kindergartens. She combines her business experience with university work – she is an Assistant Professor and an academic teacher at the Faculty of Political Science and Security Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland.
She graduated from the University of Warsaw in Warsaw, where she obtained a doctorate at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science. She was awarded a scholarship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for Young Researchers (place of scholarship: the Heidelberg University in Germany). She has obtained international qualifications in many prestigious international schools and institutions such as: Minding Manners School in London, International School of Protocol and Diplomacy in Brussels, United Nations Institute for Training and Research or the domestic Diplomatic Academy in Warsaw.
She is the author of many scientific and journalistic publications that concern functioning and politics for the development of the European Union, diplomatic protocol, etiquette, and savoir-vivre, including the academic handbook: „Protokół dyplomatyczny, etykieta i zasady savoir-vivre’u” (“Diplomatic protocol, etiquette, and the rules of savoir-vivre” – 3 editions) published by Wolters Kluwer Publishing Company.
